Our manufacturing facility located in Hot Springs Arkansas currently has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Manufacturing Engineer. 

Job Purpose:

Under the general direction of the Engineering Manager, this position implements lean manufacturing processes, leads the effort to automate the manufacturing processes, evaluates current and new machines, and performs all other support duties to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing operation.

Major Accountabilities:

-Leads efforts to reduce cycle times, scrap, and mundane, repetitive tasks

-Optimize machine performance

-Justify new capital equipment expenditures

-Monitor process controls and correct when necessary

-Train current and new employees in injection molding, assembly, decorating & lining

-Maintain a safe and clean work environment

-Operate machines (as required)

-Assist other associates as needed.  Foster a team enviornment

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

-Qualifications include a four year degree in Engineering (ME, IE, IET, EE, MET) with 5 plus years of experience in injection molding and production machinery background with training in six sigma/lean methods.

-Effective written and oral communication skills.

-Good leadership skills and the ability to perform systematic troubleshooting.
