Recognized leader in the industry has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer.  This individual will be the liaison between engineering and all departments to assure that manufacturing meets the lowest possible cost.  Additional duties are:

Determine areas of process improvements.Recommend process changes by cost studies and which are the most favorable methods.Recommend design modifications and determine methods for manufacture during design of new products.Examine blueprints, drawings, change orders, and verify accuracy of data.Responsible for set-up and maintenance of labor standards; methods, processes, and procedures analysis; processing engineering change request; and troubleshooting technical problems.Work with planning, tooling and design teams to ensure efficient production methods.Confer with management and engineering regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and all other production processes.Additional duties as assigned.

Experience:

BS in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering3+ years experience in hydraulic cylinders or related filedKnowledge of grinding, turning, cutting, milling, CNC, CAD/CAM, and programming languagesStrong computer skills including ERP/MRP applications.
