We are presently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to contribute high-quality performance to our expanding business. 

Job Description:

Develop methods, fixtures, and CNC programs to support machining and assembly operations. Perform time and motion analysis to maintain accurate cost and efficiency standards. Work closely with Design Engineering in support of new and existing products. Recommend and implement methodologies to improve quality, efficiency, and lower costs. Perform cost estimating in support of sales requests as necessary. Communicate Beck quality requirements and provide technical assistance to outside subcontractors. Participate in supplier evaluations and audits. Participate in capital equipment justification, purchase, and implementation. Provide project support to other functions as requested.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.  5 years of proven Manufacturing Engineering experience in machining and electro-mechanical assembly. In-depth knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Capable of programming a variety of CNC equipment including lathes, vertical mills, horizontal mills, and grinders. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion and on schedule. Proven professional qualities including strong initiative, integrity, and the desire/ability to work in a team environment. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts desirable.
