Description:
Volt is currently working with a dynamic company that manufactures equipment designed to move, measure, control, dispense, and apply fluid materials. This company is looking for driven Manufacturing Engineers with a Bachelor's Degree and machining experience. Principal Activities/Duties 1. Planning, executing and reporting of priorities. Man-hour estimates. Reacting to changing priorities. Record Keeping and reporting. Demonstrates the ability to stay abreast of industry developments in technical field to maintain technical knowledge. 2. Providing general production support for machining and/or assembly area as needed. Evaluate upgrades for machining or assembly. Troubleshoot issues (quality, efficiency, etc.) on assembly line or machine. 3. Communication liaison between engineering, production, marketing, purchasing, etc. and cell leader. Demonstrates team leadership skills and works well as a team player. Provide technical assistance. Provide hands-on problem resolutions. Report and facilitate correction of out-of-specification conditions. Utilizes good communication skills. 4. Determining the proper processes. Create and analyze standards and operation layouts. Select and implement proper fixturing and tooling for machining and/or assembly job. Perform capital equipment justification as needed. Plan and implement preventive and corrective actions for reducing scrap, rework and down time. Research and implement new technological ideas to keep the cell continuously improving. Lead and conceptualize process improvements. 5. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
-BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent -3 to 5 years manufacturing experience with demonstrated ability to produce innovative and successful processes to meet project schedules and cost targets. -Good oral and written communication skills. -Good mechanical aptitude. -Knowledge of one or more NC programming languages (for Machining Engineers).
