Job DescriptionOversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency. Ensures that engineering, maintenance teams and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively. Responsible for development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process. Requires a bachelor's degree and 3 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
We Are Looking For:1. Must possess good problem solving skills.
2. Must be able to work with team and vendors to troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly. Spends at least 50% of time in plant environment and willing to work long hours.
3. Experience with fabrication and maintenance of industrial equipment
4. PLC experience a plus.
Main Responsibilities1. Will be responsible for managing capital projects and responsible for providing engineering support and leadership to the manufacturing team and coordinate with al departments to facilitate maintenance program. .
2. Will be judged on ability to meet deadlines and budget.
3. Manage 7 – 10 maintenance team members.
4. Responsible for inventory of maintenance supplies
5. Directs maintenance of plant and maintenances schedules for equipment and machinery
Skills & Aptitude1. Supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing environment
2. Organizational and interpersonal skills.
3. Must have understanding of Manufacturing Quality Principles.
4. Excel, Word and Microsoft products a must, other general computer skills are valuable.
Education & AbilitiesMechanical, electrical or industrial engineering degree preferred and/or 5 years experience in maintenance program.
