Great Company! Great People! Great Beer! To lead change efforts in the brewery relative to the manner in which production processes are carried out. To champion new methodologies which reflect best practices. To teach both hourly and salaried employees in WCM principles. To actively manage projects that directly or indirectly contribute to the manner in which production processes are carried out. To identify, coordinate and actively participate in systemic planning processes relative to supporting initiatives of the brewery and departmental Manufacturing Strategies. Assist the Manufacturing Development Manager (MDM) in leading and directing the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) implementation at the brewery. Leading the anchoring of WCM work practices, including conducting periodic audits to ensure adherence to the WCM principles/practices. Coach, mentor and guide hourly and salaried team members at levels 1-3 as well as other functional teams on the WCM principles, tools and work practices. Actively manage the development of appropriate work practices, roles and responsibilities related to WCM and/or Manufacturing Change initiatives as directed by the WDM. Actively manage projects to support the development, prioritization and implementation of the brewery manufacturing strategy. Conduct and support workshops in the brewery to communicate and ensure alignment with the brewery and departmental manufacturing strategy. Provide general Industrial Engineering and/or Production management support as requested by MDM. Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or Industrial Management from an accredited school, with a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in implementing WCM processes such as six sigma, lean manufacturing, 5S, asset management, etc. Minimum of 2 years experience in developing and implementing supply chain, production or process improvement related initiatives. Proven track record in leading change, and managing projects and strategic and systemic initiatives from conception through implementation. Proven skills in Operations division core competencies (Analytical/Problem Solving, Results Driven, Innovation, Team Player/Interpersonal Skills, Intellect, Resilient/Flexible/Adaptable, Leadership Skills) Advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated project management capabilities. Proven ability to utilize root cause, problem solving processes. Thorough understanding and demonstrated success of Change Leadership and Management Processes. Ability to coach others and to transfer knowledge, tools and capabilities. Ability to mobilize teams and direct focused efforts during periods of uncertainty and changing operational stability. Confident and assertive in leading. Proven ability to teach others and lead workshops that effectively transfer knowledge pertaining to WCM concepts, practices and principles.
