I am currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Cost Manager to be located at the headquarters/Plant Location of a $450 million consumer products manufacturer in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role will have 3 direct reports and will report to the Corporate Controller. The Cost Manager will be responsible for providing financial support for the operations areas of the business, including production, purchasing, Supply Chain, engineering, and distribution. This role must function as a key partner with the operations team and will be responsible for providing financial support for all material decisions. The Cost Manager will develop operational budgets & forecasts as well as maintain the standard cost systems and ensuring timely closing of the books. The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a proven record of building, maintaining and motivating a team with a results oriented focus. This is role is highly visible, will frequently interact with all levels of management including the CFO and CEO. They are looking for a well credentialed candidate with a BS in Finance or Accounting - Additional accreditation valued (CMA, CPA, MBA, etc.). The candidate should have 5 - 10 years experience in manufacturing accounting/finance, with at least 2 in a leadership position. Relocation provided. The salary range is from 90,000 - 110,000 + 20% bonus.
