Position Description:

1. Responsible for quarterly/yearly marketing plans which includes a definition of the business strategy and the tactics used to achieve the desired outcome 2. Prepares and gives presentations to management on marketing plans, strategies and channel promotions. 3. Promote ARM compliance processors cores to both internal and external customers. 4. Manages the day to day marketing interface with internal and external Customers. 5. Prepare presentation slides and application note. 6. Support sales team to resolve issues and conflicts 7. Works with design team on strategic product development 8. Requires experience in a customer environment with knowledge of specific customer applications. Requires demonstrated technical knowledge in the areas of embedded microprocessor core and SOC development. 9. Implements projects/programs that support the marketing activity and sales team. 10. Feedback inputs from both internal and external customers to cross functional teams on product specification, readiness of tool chains both software and hardware, schedule and issues. 11. Works with management in product marketing, field sales, corporate communications and channel partners/end users, to ensure that Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. is providing the appropriate marketing tools for segment penetration to achieve regional sales goals. 12. Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing programs/promotions consistent with the product line objectives, provides pre and post sales marketing support to Marvell’s targeted channels and end user segments. 13. Works on related projects and/or assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

A BSEE or BSCE degree plus 4 years of microprocessor marketing experience and in a Marketing organization whose goals and requirements are aligned to those of the Sales organization. Requires demonstrated knowledge of microprocessor and related tool chains, channel marketing programs and promotions, and a thorough understanding of customer needs. Requires effective communications and positive negotiation skills. (An advanced degree may reduce the years of experience required.)
