As a global leader in nourishing crops and delivering distinctive value to the world's agriculture, Mosaic offers an opportunity to share in an exciting future. We are currently seeking a Manager, Tax for our Plymouth, MN location.  The successful candidate will be responsible for management of, and support with tax compliance and provision matters.  All applicants are treated as confidential.  Principal Accountabilities: Domestic Tax Compliance- Preparation and Review of Domestic Tax Returns (Income and Non-income) of Mosaic and Subsidiaries. Overall reponsibility for the preparation of the separate company and consolidated federal income tax returns for companies which are included in the Mosaic US tax group. Tax Administration Function Development- assist the Director in ensuring that the tax compliance and tax accounting functions are compliant with SOX 404.  Look for opportunities to further automate tax accounting and return processes. International Tax Compliance Oversight- Assist the Director, Tax Planning & Analysis in the review of international tax aspects of the US consolidated tax return. Staff Training and Development- assist the Director in developing and teaching training and development programs for staff.  Participate in training of non-tax staff in areas of Tax Accounting. Provide support to Director, Tax Audits and Natural Resources and staff in developing and preparing responses to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing jurisdictions. This position is covered by Mosaic’s Employee Dispute Resolution (EDR) program.  Mosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer Required Education, Experience, Skills:BBA, MST, LLM CPA preferred 7+ years experience in preparation of consolidated income tax return Demonstrated SOX 404 and FAS 109 Experience Knowledge of non-income taxes, including franchise taxes, annual reports, property taxes and sales and use taxes Knowledgeable in Tax Compliance software (AACTS Federal & State), Vertex, Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working in a team environment,  capable of handling multiple diverse tasks.  Proven track record for growth in a corporate tax function.
