Burkhart, Pizzanelli, P.C. is a regional certified public accounting firm in Western Massachusetts conveniently located with easy access to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Interstate 91. Founded in 1986, it has grown into a full service accounting, tax and consulting firm consisting of three principals, seven professional and four support team members. As part of its growth plan and to enhance and complement existing services to its clients, BPPC founded Financial Counselors, LLC, a registered investment advisor firm, in 2001. Consisting of four principals and two professional team members, Financial Counselors offers a wide array of solutions, including fee only investment advisory services.

 

Included in its client base are companies in industries such as manufacturing, construction, auto dealerships, real estate, insurance, health care, investment, professional services, retail, wholesale, recreational and not-for profit.

Qualifications required for the position:

 

Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA certificate 5 - 7 years in the practice of public accounting Strong technical skills in the accounting/tax areas a must in the performance of audits, reviews and compilations and preparation and review of corporate, partnership, estate, trust and individual tax returns Problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills dealing with clients and the ability to work in a team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Organizational skills
