MANAGER - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA OPERATIONS

ENTRIX, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to help establish and manage a Southern California office for ENTRIX, as an extension of our existing offices throughout California. The initial focus will be on leveraging ENTRIX’s strong existing business and client relationships in southern California and use this business to establish an office presence and new staff. The business focus should be on ENTRIX’s core environmental practices in Water Resources, Natural Resource Management, Energy Development and NEPA/Regulatory Compliance. This position would report to the Western Region Managing Director, and work closely with ENTRIX Business Line Managers throughout California and Nevada.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Masters degree in environmental science, planning or engineering

2. Five years of relevant experience in managing an environmental technical practice/office, operations management, business development and client relationship management.

3. Ten years professional environmental consulting experience

4. Proven track record of winning and managing large environmental contracts (public or private sectors)

5. Established relationships with water resources and/or energy clients in Southern California

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills

7. Strong business/profit/loss orientation

8. Ability to frequently travel to other ENTRIX office locations on the West Coast

9. Must be authorized to work in U.S. without company sponsorship

Desired Qualifications:

1. Ability to leverage ENTRIX into new Southern California markets

2. Work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, team oriented work environment

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
