Job Summary This position is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and Technical Specialists to implement new products. Working in concert with Prime’s Product Development department, the main responsibilities of this position are to deliver an operational plan which meets overall project goals in terms of scope, quality, budget and schedule. II. Accountabilities 1. Act as operations business lead for new products developed by the Product Development department. Create and manage project plan to operationally implement product. 2. Manage the implementation process by partnering with leaders in Health Plan Solutions, Product Development , Account Management and I/S. Engage other internal/external business partners and lead communication process to drive project plan from an operations perspective. Represent Health Plan Solutions in cross-functional meetings, client facing meetings and Sr. Staff update meetings. 3. Lead efforts to creatively problem solve to ensure product is implemented in the most efficient manner. 4. Oversee day-to-day details of project plan including schedule, resources, scope, budget and risks. Responsible for the timely resolution on issues. 5. Track progress and monitor all business and technical development activities to ascertain and control progress. Report on a weekly/monthly basis to project team and Management. 6. Partner with other Health Plan Solutions leads to ensure requirements are complete and system enhancements are communicated to our vendor timely. 7. Create and manage hand-off process to other operations areas. To include creation of training program, documenting standard operating procedure, and on-going monitoring to ensure quality and performance guarantees are met. 8. Develop and manage department budget, staff goals and objectives, project plans and resources. Accountable for staff performance and deliverables. 9. Other duties as assigned. III. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 2. Ten years experience in a wide range of business roles with exposure to project management in a healthcare/insurance setting. 3. Five to Ten years experience managing direct reports. 4. Interpersonal skills necessary to manage staff and build relationships. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience writing proposals and giving presentations. 6. Ability to coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously 7.
