Major Direct Mail, Interactive Marketing Ad Agency has needs for VP, Client Services for pharmaceutical and non- pharmaceutical clients.

 

Our client, a premier integrated marketing advertising agency specializes in direct marketing, interactive marketing and accountable marketing solutions.  As a subdivision of a multi billion dollar global leading advertising and marketing communications Corporation, they manage over 1,000 projects each year for such clients as AT&T, Mitsubishi Motors of North America, Bank of America, Elizabeth Arden, Citigroup Smith Barney, Lipitor, Yellow Pages and more.

 

At the present time, they are looking for a Vice President, Client Services for their pharma team focusing on clients that have needs in the pharmaceutical and related industry. 

 

Please note, this company also has needs for a VP, Client Services position based in their New York City office focusing on non-pharma clients.

 

The Vice President, Client Services – Pharma will be responsible for the following:

Leading agency efforts in planning, implementing and measuring direct mail and interactive marketing efforts for one or more secondary accounts.Developing and overseeing multi-channel patient relationship marketing and communications programs for pharmaceutical clients that drive patient acquisition, increase compliance/persistency and build brand loyalty.Identify, define, propose and implement marketing capabilities for current and prospective clients to assure a leadership position. Establish strategic direction as well as sound, achievable objectives and ensure these objectives are metOversee submissions for client medical/regulatory/legal copy review.Lead Client Service involvement of new business development efforts including the preparation and deliver of new business pitches / presentations as needed.Foster effective intradepartmental relationships Demonstrate principled leadership/management qualities and sound business decisions.Understand contractual relationships and monitor contract compliance.Synthesize historical data and results from account initiatives to determine future strategies (continuous measurable improvement).Manage client expectations, project statuses, and client requirements/priorities. Monitor account P&L statements, and develop short and long range plans for account growth.Apprise Executive Management of key client opportunities, potential risks, and issues that impact the health  of the companyRecruit, cultivate and plan availability of all internal marketing resources.Ensure well trained, experienced employees are available to meet and exceed client expectations.Additional projects as needed and assigned.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 15+ years experience in marketing and business with at least 7 years in a management roleAt least 7+ years experience in direct marketing (interactive and DRTV/Print experience a plus) in a client facing roleAt least 3-5 years minimum of Rx pharma industry experience in an agency required (OTC pharma experience not applicable)Working knowledge of FDA Regulations, PhRMA guidelines and HIPPA requirements as it impacts advertising and CRM programs in the pharmaceutical industry.Knowledge of current trends in the industry and how they impact marketing.Must be proficient with MS Office Suite and have working knowledge of standard project management tools.Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills required.  Ability to prepare well-structured, clear and concise client-ready deliverables, including client presentations.Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy and commitment to the client, proven ability to manage expectations. Demonstrated ability to maintain required performance level in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.Exceptional standards for quality and strong attention to detail.Excellent judgment and effective problem-resolution skills.Proven ability to lead by example and with integrity.Flexibility to work irregular hours – up to 20% required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent required; graduate degree a plus.

 

Compensation includes a Base Salary in the $160K to $200K+ Range, Bonus (20K to 30K) and Top Notch Benefits.

 

This client also has needs to fill a similar role focusing on non-pharmaceutical clients. $160K to $200K Salary plus bonus!  Requires at least 5 years experience in the consumer industry within an agency.  At least 7 years in a client facing management role.
