A $10M national non-profit legal skills programs and publications provider is looking for a Manager of Web Technology. The incumbent will interface with all departments (including Sales & Marketing, Programs, Publications and The Foundation) in managing all aspects of the development and production of content on the public website (www.nita.org) and possibly, if such are developed, intranet and extranet sites.

This person reports to the Chief Operations Officer and works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and other department directors in overseeing web production, web application development, web engineering and web operations. This position demands strong web programming, technical, leadership, organizational, multi-tasking and project management skills in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Candidate must be able to speak to technical and non-technical personnel alike. S/he must be able to manage multiple stakeholders across department lines.

 

Expectations Ensure web production occurs seamlessly, effectively and efficiently Improve performance of paid-search campaign Monitor web site usage, provide reports and analysis, and drive plans to increase web site revenue. Plan and manage web/online budget Manage relationships with external internet marketing vendors and resources Interface with all NITA departments to maximize Web site offerings and effectiveness Work with internal and external development teams to add functionality or increase usability Essential Responsibilities Direct, manage and implement effective, innovative look and feel for www.nita.org, built on a state of the art platform (perhaps incorporating Microsoft Dynamics CRM capabilities) that enables effortless farming out of web content production to appropriate individuals in the organization Direct and manage web content; ensuring it is up-to-date, offers a compelling message, meets search engine criteria, and is creatively presented with effective functionality Manage technical aspects of web and online metrics tracking, including Google Analytics, AdWords, etc. Essential Qualifications Strong project management Process oriented and solutions driven Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Understanding of network concepts including standard Internet protocols Experience with web tracking tools including Google Analytics Experience with Internet standards including but not limited to: HTML JavaScript CSS AJAX Classic ASP ASP.NET Experience working with IIS and SQL Server Strategic thinker about future direction Experience with content management concepts, principles and best practices Experience working with third party technology vendors Demonstrated leadership in third party integrations Excellent interpersonal skills Proven analytical skills
