Manager of Medical/Surgical (Hosptial)

Our firm has been engaged by the largest private hospital in the State of Illinois to locate them a new clinical leader for their rapidly expanding surgical services department.

They are the largest fully integrated not-for-profit health care delivery system in metropolitan Chicago and is recognized as one of the top 10 systems in the country.

Boasting eight hospitals with 3,500 beds and a home health care company among its more than 200 sites of care, making it one of Chicagoland's 10 largest employers and the fourth largest in the private sector.

The position is based in a 695 bed TEACHING hospital that is also one of the few MAGNET facilities in the State of Illinois.

The Clinical Manager will be responsible for 45 beds and over 85 FTE's. There will also be an advanced practitioner and 3 team leaders reporting to this position. Over 85% occupancy. This unit also is also capable of housing chronic vent patients (6 Beds) so a background in tele or critical care would be a plus. Bachelors degree and five years med/surgical experience required, with some supervisory. Masters preferred. Must be a licensed RN in the State of Illinois or eligible. My client offers well above market compensation based on experience, a bonus based on targeted incentives and relocation assistance for the right candidate. Benefit package is unbelievable !
