IMAGING MANAGER , OUTPATIENT -  Hospital Based

An outstanding opportunity to apply all your Radiology ARRT credentials and Management experience in beautiful West Central Oregon at an Imaging Department, Hospital.

 

The Outpatient Manager of Imaging manages full service, a high volume outpatient department which includes Radiology, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA and EKG.

*        Manages the operations of the OP Imaging Center to meet the clinical needs of physicians, staff and customers.

*        Manages all technical and clerical operations of the department to ensure quality, access and budget goals are achieved.

*        Coordinates the operations of department by maintaining appropriate staffing levels – meeting established productivity standards, holds staff accountable to performance / dept. / organizational goals.

*        Monitors performance improvement, safety, quality and regulatory standards. Develops and manages imaging standards and protocols for the delivery of medical imaging services in keeping with service, value, quality, and access goals of the organization.

*        Works with the department Director in developing budgets and applies and evaluates all medical imaging services and operations for effectiveness & efficiency. 

*        Supervises the management and resolution of human resource, labor relations, employee and department safety and risk management issues. Responsible for employee evaluations, provides coaching on performance issues, helps to resolve conflict when necessary.

*        Provides leadership in busy, Imaging environment, works with staff to develop and insure a customer oriented service.

*         Accountable for the on-going training and development of technical and clerical imaging staff. Aids in developing an equipment plan for the procurement, maintenance and replacement of imaging equipment across the service line. 

*        Ensures equipment and procedures are safe, functional and capable of meeting the diagnostic needs of the medical staff in a timely manner. Recommends the acquisition and implementation of new technology based on knowledge of developments in diagnostic imaging technology.

*         Accountable for adherence to state and federal rules and regulations on safety and quality assurance programs.  Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission, MQSA, federal, state and local agencies.

Requirements:

1, ARRT Certificate.

2. Bachelors degree.

3. At least three years of previous management experience.

4. Have CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy experience.

5. Excellent Physician Public Relations.
