My client a growing publically traded company has an immediate need due to recent promotions for a Manager of Corporate Accounting.

Manager of Corporate Accounting Responsibilities

Manage the preparation of general ledger and resulting financial reports reflecting revenues, operating profit, net earnings and other financial results.Manages the preparation and maintenance of all capital asset expenditures and ensures that fixed asset records accurately reflect actual assets owned by the company, and that resulting depreciation charges are correct.Manage the performance of direct reports and work processes in a matrix environment by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counselling, feedback and guidance, while ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to. Manage & reconcile source system interfaces into the general ledger including Project Control System (PCS), Integrated Field System (IFS), Labels, Responsible for maintaining all corporate records in accordance with management and regulatory requirements.

Essential Manager of Corporate Accounting Skills & Characteristics

CPA required; advanced degree desired5 to 7 years of progressive accounting & financial management experience with at least 2 years of public accounting experienceFAS 109 accounting experienceSolid written and verbal communications skillsStrong interpersonal skills that will enable candidate to develop solid relationships and collaborations acrossControllership, FP&A, Business Analysis and Regional Finance organizationsStrong leadership and managerial and skills that motivate, develop, and empower direct reports
