Professional Abilities:
* Accomplishes engineering construction objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
* Mentoring of Superintendents.
* Must be able to manage and meet tight deadlines and timetables.
* Meets engineering construction operational standards by contributing engineering construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying engineering construction system improvements.
* Meets engineering construction financial standards; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
* Prepares construction projects by verifying estimates, project drawings, and specifications; establishing and disseminating schedules; awarding contracts; obtaining tools and equipment; specifying materials and supplies.
* Completes construction projects by directing construction requirements; comparing construction results to plans; coordinating with power company; scheduling inspections; resolving problems.
* Knowledge of various codes and municipalities
* Professional demeanor and a WINNING attitude are a must.
Skills/Qualifications:
Project Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Construction Knowledge (Hands-on and Managerial), Managing Subordinates, Compliance, Documentation Skills, Civil Project Management, Problem Solving, Estimating, Engineering Best Practices, Safety Management
Bachelors Degree in an Engineering field is HIGHLY desired, especially Civil/Structural.
Good Driving Record
