Manager of Budgets and Financial Reporting (Hospital)

Our firm has been engaged by the largest private hospital in the State of Illinois to locate them a new clinical leader for their rapidly expanding surgical services department.

They are the largest fully integrated not-for-profit health care delivery system in metropolitan Chicago and is recognized as one of the top 10 systems in the country.

Boasting eight hospitals with 3,500 beds and a home health care company among its more than 200 sites of care, making it one of Chicagoland's 10 largest employers and the fourth largest in the private sector.

Our client has engaged us to locate an impact player for one of their most successful hospitals. This position will have a revenue responsibility of $387,000,000 and have 2 budget analysts reporting to it. Some highlights of the hospital:

·        (500+ licensed beds), a major teaching facility

·        Physician practice division with over 100 physicians

·        2,200 FTEs

·        19,000 Admissions

·        90,000 Patient Days

The manager will administer the annual budget process and financial reporting function for the hospital and related entities, and supports operations improvement through financial and staffing analyses and benchmarking initiatives.  Provides assistance and support to the Director of Finance and the Vice President of Finance, Corporate Finance and Budget, Department Managers, Hospital Executive Management, and Department Managers with respect to budgets, monthly financial reports of operations, staffing, and other financial information as needed.

The selected candidate will have experience in HEALTHCARE ACCOUNTING (3 years min) and 2 years supervisor experience preferred. BA or BS in accounting, finance or business required, MBA or MHA preferred. CPA also preferred.
