The PBMS Marketing team is looking for a Manager, Marketing Database Analysis to provide strategic quantitative sales and market analysis and tactical database marketing support. In this role the candidate will be responsible for working directly with the sales and operations divisions to run reports and provide insights on; clustering customer locations to identify regional sales opportunities, run product and sales reports on existing customers to provide sales with insight on which products are appropriate for cross-selling, produce win loss analysis giving insight into potential resources allocations. These reports will require the individual to work with several databases, have a deep understanding of our customer base and the ability to produce clear reports and analysis for review with senior management. The individual will also gain exposure to many areas of the company including on/off-site sales, finance, business development, marketing, product management, product development, information technology, and other business unit's analytical departments.
Job Responsibilities: The PBMS Manager, Marketing Database Analysis is responsible for activities associated with:
Produce data rich reports including:
o Sales analysis
o Customer demographics
o Customer product profiles
o Regional customer density maps
o Target lists for sales and marketing programs
Oversee marketing database management to ensure integrity and accuracy of information; ensures information is leveraged to support marketing programs. Manages the analysis of existing data to build and track customer profiles with respect to existing and proposed products/services. Develops and maintains reports, reviews data and provides recommendations. Identify marketing opportunities and testing strategies for direct marketing campaigns to optimize resources and improve key marketing metrics. Performs direct marketing analytics including response modeling, customer profiling and segmentation, and other types of quantitative and qualitative marketing and business analysis. Evaluates response analytics to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Applies statistical and quantitative analysis to current and developing processes and marketing strategies. Acquire lists working with inside clients and outside agencies. Focus on specific audiences, vertical markets, and geographic markets. Analyzes customer and industry firmographics and identifies trends. Gathers intelligence on competitive firms and identifies trends through Siebel. Serve as marketing liaison for Siebel support needs and development. Works with agency vendors, research providers, and other business units to maximize marketing effectiveness and cross unit sales. Performs other as necessary functions. BA/BS required (preferably in marketing, business, economics or a related field), MBA desired. 5-7 years in analyst or senior analyst position Excellent problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently. Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented Strong written and oral communication skills required Intermediate to Expert in MS Products-(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), SQL Server & Database marketing tools: SAS, SPSS, Sagent DataFlow Sagent Advanced Matcher Transform, Centrus Desktop, and Geographic Information Systems, Siebel Sales Database, ESRI ArcView, MapInfo
