The purpose of the Loss Mitigation Workout Manager is to review escalated approval's submitted by the Workout staff and the Workout Team Lead to successfully reduce delinquency and loss severity on foreclosure alternatives for loans that are 60+ days delinquent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Approve or deny workout files within 24 hours.
• Track productivity and reporting for the Workout team.
• Handle escalated calls from mitigators, borrowers and third party representatives.
• Management and development of floor manager, team leads and mitigation staff.
• Maintain acceptable delinquency and cure rate percentages.
• Work cross departmentally to ensure steady and productive work flow.
• SOX & REG AB Quarterly Testing
• Review PSA(s) and ensure adherence to controls
• Maintain and update the Loss Mitigation Workout policy and procedures.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
• Maintain, monitor and accurately enter Personal Time and absences in Etime for employees on your team.
• Provide Human Resources with appropriate paperwork and information on employee's attendance.
• Assist in development of training activities.
• Assist with FiServ Cross Testing and enhancements.
• Additional responsibilities as required by management.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the individual assistance, growth and development of team members.
• Prompt and accurate responses on questions from team members and/or borrowers.

Education:
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Work Experience:
• 5-11 years Mortgage Banking experience, preferably in Default Servicing.
• 3 or more years of management experience.

 

Computer Software Skills:
• Outlook

• MortgageServ skills a plus.
