We are currently looking for a qualified Manager - IT Security to join our (GIS) Global Information Services team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.
There's never been a better time to join CA. This is a new position for a Manager - IT Security to formalize a technical security operations function and enhance the overall coordination and communication of the global security programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the financial details (accruals, budgeting, formalization, investment request), based on collaboration within the Identity and Access Management (IAM), Threat Management (TM), Security Information Management (SIM), and Security Operations (SO) functions
* Manage the linkage to Enterprise Information System's offshore Security Assurance function in India Technical Center to ensure healthy control activities and compliance
* Liaison for Change Management Processes
* Support Scheduling and Resource management
* Manage and Coach Security Operations Human Resources
* Lead and coordinate messaging team strategies and initiatives externally within CA and building a library of communicable knowledge (Power-Points, process, strategy, tactics, procedures, metrics, knowledge-base articles, OLAs, SLAs)
* Develop sustainable processes for the interlocks between the IAM, TM, SIM, SO and Governance Security functions
* Coordinate between IT Compliance, Business Systems Compliance, Business Readiness, Internal Audit, Internal Control Functions and similar
* Track identified risks and outstanding findings/issuesliaise with appropriate teams inside and outside of IT Security to bring these to timely resolution
* Manage triage of service desk and workload escalations-ensure timely assignment, escalation and resolution
* Resource and time management (and project level accrual) for consultants, temps, contractors and interns
Key Requirements:
* Fundamental security concept familiarity and an aptitude to further develop this skill base
* Experience with setting and managing Key Performance Indicators
* Established ITIL Foundation Skills (certification preferred)
* Prior project management experience
* Ability to work effectively with peers and senior management
* Comprehensive knowledge of secure computing concepts
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
* Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related field
