The Manager in Training conducts needs assessments for enhancements and product efficiency issues. Works with business staff and mangers to identify best practices. Involvement with profitability, customer service satisfaction, maximization of asset utilization and achieving overall company goals.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Gains knowledge in the core functions of the business and is able to apply that knowledge when performing within those functions. The core functions include asset and inventory management, dispatch and calendar management, installation, customer service, financial management and reporting, and third party vendor management.
Performs analysis to identify productivity issues, determine solutions on operations issues, and manage project plans.
Proven results in a leadership role.
Complies with management reporting and communications as requested.
Understands and executes action plans against financial statements and P& L analysis.
Possess ability to learn each aspect of Dish Network Services businesses and applicable positions.
Excellent presentation/ facilitation and communication skills to effectively relay company information during employee meetings.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university, and two years of related experience; or 4+ years of related experience, 3 years of which consist of supervisory/ management experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
Ability to respond and interact with all levels of organizational staff. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
Flexible, able to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth oriented environment.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
