We are currently seeking results driven and self-motivated candidates for our Manager in Development (MID) program. If you are an experienced business person who is seeking the autonomy of managing your own operation while receiving the support and resources of a nation-wide organization, then this is the opportunity you have been looking for.  Candidates selected for this opportunity must be flexible in their ability to relocate to one of Suburban’s business operations centers located in Eastern New York or Connecticut upon completion of the program. Candidate’s geographic preferences will be given consideration. Relocation assistance is available.

Candidates selected for this management development program will receive extensive training in the areas of business operations, product knowledge, operations management and the supervision and management of staff. Upon successful completion of the comprehensive training program, MIDs will be placed in a key management position at one of our Customer Service Centers with full operational, P & L, and management responsibilities.

The desirable candidate for this position will have: Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience. Five or more years leadership and management experience in a business environment Excellent math and computer skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated track record of producing results
