Essential Job Functions

 

As the Manager - Fleet Sales Program, you will be responsible for increasing sales and revenue through new Commercial Fleet Card and WetGo Carwash Bulk Card Program account acquisition and existing customer gallon growth.  In this exciting new role, you will develop, implement, and manage Fleet Card and WetGo Bulk Card sales strategy plans.  To be successful, you will:

Cold-call new leads and discover new prospects for account acquisition.Pursue quality accounts with high gallon potential allowing for acceptable profit margins.Generate and pursue leads through observation, referrals and provided lead lists.Market areas where there is strong site availability and pursue other areas for potential development through observation.Research and dissect competitive programs and present findings to major prospects.Gather regional/national retail prices as comparison and use information to tailor programs for major prospects.Foster relationships with existing customers to gain trust, leading to long-term account retention.Work closely with Administrative Support/Customer Service Reps to ensure card orders, customer set-up, invoicing questions, report generation, account inquiries, etc.Work closely with Credit Department to ensure payment terms are met, assist with payment collections, and approval of new credit applications.Communicate sales activity, price changes, customer problems, and potential prospects to the Director, Business Development.

 Qualifications

 

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field and 5 years of management and sales experience is required.  Experience in the retail, convenience or automotive industry is preferred.  Essential competencies include:  strong sales orientation, customer relationship management, and project management skills, ability to work independently with high initiative, planning, organizing, multi-tasking and time management skills, excellent interpersonal, communication, pursuasion, and presentation skills, problem solving and decision making abilities, integrity, trust, and the ability to handle confidential information.  Must have a valid driver's license.  This position will require the ability to travel within the Pittsburgh, Ohio, Maryland, and West Virginia regions.
