Responsible for compliance with basic controls which include: ensuring data integrity; relevant regulations, policies and procedures; protecting assets; and fiduciary responsibility and government regulations. Provides financial leadership to the organization through participation, development, and communication of profit and working capital goals and performance for the business. Provides recommendations as well as analysis; offers solutions and guidance to other business areas that benefit the overall company. This position is primarily guided by specific assignment objectives. Supervision is chiefly in the form of high level functional, schedule and cost requirements. A large degree of autonomy is expected in this position. Will provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced finance staff as needed in specific routine areas. The incumbent must exhibit ownership and accountability for both routine activities and unique projects/assignments. Responsibilities will include P&L or fiduciary responsibility for a business segment and Government Compliance Leadership. Integrity, business skills/understanding written and verbal communications, leadership and management, technical skills, including strong computer and analytical skills and a working knowledge of government regulations and government compliance Requires a minimum of B.S. in accounting, finance, or math.
