Manager, Finance Projects
Employee Responsibilities:
· Acts as main contact person for parent company with regards to all Finance, Accounting and controlling relevant system's projects.
· Coordinates all system projects between Stihl Inc. IT and Finance departments. Tracks significant projects to ensure compliance with targets, timeliness and cost controlling.
· Supports IT department with regards to Finance specifications on all systems concerning configuration, structure and functionality of SAP R/3 modules FI and CO as well as all related modules and interfaces.
· Negotiates courier services.
· Supervises project controlling staff.
· Supervises mailroom staff and operations.
· Supervises cost reduction activities and projects.
· Supervises and reviews return on investment, payback, and other capital appropriation analyses.
· Oversees business justifications for capital and expense projects, and make or buy calculations.
· All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
· Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned.
Required:
· Four year degree in accounting or related discipline with additional advanced courses.
· Five years of related finance, accounting and SAP experience.
· Experience in project management and project teamwork.
· Familiar with German and American Accounting Principles and Costing Procedures.
· User specific knowledge of relevant SAP R/3 transactions.
· Understanding of SAP database structures and system processes as well as table maintenance.
