Job Responsibilities

 

·         Manage the development and implementation of the SourceGas Demand-Side Management program

·         Work directly with Company operations and regulatory leadership in developing and implementing DSM strategies, programs and policies that maximize customer benefits and corporate value

·         Responsible for regulatory DSM compliance, tracking, and related reporting

·         Research, evaluate (including financial analysis) develop, and implement Demand Side Management programs that meet and exceed regulatory requirements and are proven effective

·         Develop and implement successful measurement, verification, and reporting procedures for DSM that ensure recovery of program costs and applicable incentives

·         Ability to analyze potential DSM programs including a technical knowledge of conservation and load management techniques and financial analysis

·         Cultivate an effective working relationship with the regulatory agency staff and stakeholders and provide testimony to regulatory agencies as necessary in support of DSM activities

·         Ability to meet regulatory schedules and deadlines

·         Develop, own, and evaluate marketing and technology opportunities for the DSM programs

·         Develop, own, and support plan filings, annual updates including cost benefit studies, and incentive filings

·         Lead research initatives to validate DSM results and ensure continuous process improvements in design and management of DSM programs

 

Educational Requirements

 

·         Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.

 

Job Requirements

 

·         Hands on experience with natural gas demand-side management issues, policies, procedures and compliance required

·         Working knowledge of the standard DSM cost-effectiveness test

·         Experience valuing externalities, both in environmental and non-environmental

·         Experience working in the natural gas industry, preferably related to energy efficiency and conservation

·         Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers

·         Travel within a geographic region (generally Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska), and occasionally out of the geographic region may be required, including overnight travel

·         May be required to carry a company-provided cell phone/pager and be available to respond during working hours; may be required to respond during non-working hours

·         Possiblity for direct reports

 

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

 

·         Project management skills

·         Strong organizational, communication, presentation and leadership skills required

·         Advanced analytical skills required

·         Strong computer skills and ability to utilize MS-Office products required

·         Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism

·         Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external customers

·         Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public

·         Proven oral and written communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and personalities at all levels internally and outside the organization

·         Ability to successfully perform the required and expected duties with minimal direct supervision

·         Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines
