Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain adequate estimating and billing systems for compliance with government cost accounting standards
* Support the preparation of proposals that involve compliance
* Provide cost estimating support by reviewing bids requiring the submission of cost and pricing data
* Prepare management reports comparing actual costs to forecasts and original bids
* Develop and maintain cost rates such as direct, indirect, overhead and track allowable/unallowable cost in the system
* Prepare Disclosure Statement and updates for compliance, as well as indirect claims cost submission
* Prepare and manage audits for bids, rate review, and contract close out
* Assist in the preparation of billings to government agencies and prime contractors with adequate supporting data
* Assist with monthly close and preparation of financial reports, comply with reporting requirements and help ensure accuracy of financial reporting
* Assist with other related duties in accounting area as necessary

Qualifications:
* Five years of progressive contract management experience working in federal government cost accounting and commercial sectors
* Prior working experience and knowledge of dealing with the Defense Contract Audit Agency, Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Truth in Negotiations Act and the Service Contract Act and experience preparing Disclosure Statements
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or a related field
* Thorough knowledge of government cost accounting processes and standards
* Skilled user of Microsoft Office, accounting and financial software
* Working knowledge of computerized governmental cost accounting systems
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
* Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, and deliver results
