We have ongoing openings for Managers in our Commercial and Financial Services Audit groups.

Responsibilities:

As a Manager in our Audit practice, you will plan and organize engagements, prepare and analyze financial statements, evaluate internal controls, closely supervise staff members as well as communicate effectively with clients. Other key responsibilities may include:

• Develop reasonable time budgets and effectively monitor performance of Seniors and Staff

• Manage medium to large-sized engagements for SEC and private clients, with minimum oversight by Senior Manager and Partner

• Delegate to, supervise and evaluate Seniors and Staff

• Effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously as necessary

• Provide on-the-job training and motivation to Seniors and Staff as needed

• Act as mentor to Seniors and Staff and assist with recruiting and retention

• Act as a leader and provide assistance to peers and others as requested

• Develop positive relationship with key officers and other client personnel

• Identify and initiate opportunities for new and/or extended client services

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting

• 5+ years recent public accounting/audit experience with SEC and private clients

• CPA certification

• Supervisory experience

• Technical proficiency with regard to accounting principles and auditing standards

• Specific industry group expertise (i.e. Commercial, Financial Services, Real Estate, Not-for-Profit)
• Strong MS Excel and MS Word

• Familiarity with ePace/ProSystem (preferred)
• Great attitude and a strong work ethic
• Great communication and analytical skills
