DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote the benefits of Scottrade to prospects and customers. Execute trades for customers who either walk-in or call over the phone in an accurate and professional manner. Provide customer service for all aspects of account maintenance. Keep up with reorg items, margin delinquencies; call customers to inform them of exercises, short option report, misc. debit. Take lead information from potential customers and discuss the type of account paperwork needed with customer. Handle customer complaints and problems. Work with the compliance department on customer complaints and problems. Review all branch reports for any problems. Keep branch statistics and P&L reports and ensure credit and charges are correct. Approve all paperwork before going to compliance. Maintain tally sheet/leads database reports/yearly summary.Required Skills

A current Series 7 and Series 63 license Clean U4 securities record Series 24 license preferred or ability to obtain the license within 30-60 days 3 to 4 years of licensed discount experience with a major discount brokerage firm preferred and absolute proficiency as a stockbroker in all areas of the discount industry Excellent customer service skills Prior management experience in brokerage industry helpful Minimum 4 years customer service skills Some travel required

EDUCATION:

Bachelor degree in Finance or Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
