Our client is a large, extremely successful government contractor in search of a Development Manager to work on-site with a federal customer in downtown DC.  This is a permanent hire position that will have supervisory responsibility for several small teams of developers that span a range of technologies (.Net, Java, Oracle, SQL, Cold Fusion).  The manager will not need to be expert in all of these areas, but should be an experienced developer with a core skillset in one or more of these technologies.  Most important is a proven ability to manage all of the application development resources necessary to support a variety of active projects.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.  In addition candidates must be U.S citizens or be authorized to work in the U.S. and obtain a security clearance if necessary.  Technical background requirements and development experience are as follows:

·         Hands-on experience with some of the following:  C#, C++, Java, CFML, ASP.Net, Visual Basic, Oracle (8.x thru 10g), SQL Server

·         Working knowledge of CMMI Level 3, FISMA requirements, NIST, COBIT

·         Experience with all stages of the SDLC
