Sodexo Campus Services is seeking Food Production Manager for Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY. The Production Manager will be responsible for food production in a student restaurant, food inventory, ordering and catering production. Will supervise and train hourly staff of 32 on production skills, HACCP, etc. Ideal candidate will be very hands on, have strong culinary background, the ability to work with staff and have computer skills. ~cb~
Position Summary: Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. Plans and costs menus. Basic Education Requirement: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: None Basic Functional Experience Required: 1 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
