In this role, you'll be responsible for prospecting and selling Comcast services to Small to Medium business chains (5 or more chains) throughout a specific region via sales prospecting to prospective business owners. Responsible for selling the full suite of Comcast business services products including a multi-product Internet data service suite that includes static IP's and Web hosting. In addition the Major Business Account Executive will also sell Video (basic, digital and HDTV) and music services including background music for retail locations and music on hold applications.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Business to Business prospecting, (phone, face to face & networking), and sales of High Speed Internet, Comcast Digital Voice, Digital Video, HDTV and Music services to business chain accounts in assigned geographical area; Territory development and management; Responsible for meeting and exceeding minimum monthly sales quota as determined by Regional Sales Manager of Business Services; Competes all paperwork accurately, legibly and thoroughly on a daily basis; Maintains current knowledge of, as well as, demonstrates knowledge of product, programming and various promotional offers; Provides exceptional customer service assistance as needed; Submits sales claims for unpaid installed sales within allotted time frame; Projects a professional business manner and operates with a high degree of integrity; Performs other duties as requested. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred; 2-4 years prior experience in a business to business sales department. Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as this position is responsible for ensuring potential customers understand current promotions and products available to them. Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills. Strong discretionary skills, as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature.
