Sedona Technologies, a leader in the placement of Engineering and IT professionals, has a client in Iowa City, Iowa that is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician.

Qualifications:

2 years minimum experience working with facilities maintenance, manufacturing company, or in a machine repair environmentAbility to troubleshoot and repair electric motors, simple control wiring, and electro-mechanical assembliesMechanical, electrical, and PLC experienceHVAC systems and generators a plus (not required)High school diploma, GED, or Technical schoolMust be able to minimize downtime of production equipmentPerform timely preventative maintenanceInjection molding (plastics) experience preferred, but not required

Responsiblities:

Performs routine preventative maintenancePerforms troubleshooting and repairs molding machinesMaintains molding machines & packaging systems (construction, mechanical and electrical lay out, and modification)General facility maintenance
