SITE REPRESENTATIVE

General Purpose of the Job:

To sell and/or provide IdleAire products and services to truck drivers through face to face interaction. Train new members on IdleAire services and assist users with any issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sell and/or provide IdleAire products and services to truck drivers. Prepare new IdleAire window templates appropriate to a particular truck cab window. Assist with and install the window template and Service Module into the truck cab window. Sign-up and train new members on IdleAire services in their cab. Provide courteous and expedient customer service support to truck drivers. Assist with or report all Service Module issues to the corporate call center in a timely fashion. Provide basic troubleshooting and repair assistance for the IdleAire products and services. Maintain minimum inventory levels of literature and products. Provide the Site Manager with daily performance reports regarding all site related issues. Clean IdleAire Service Module and related equipment daily. Maintain a good working relationship with all travel center personnel. Train other Site Representatives as needed. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.

Working Conditions:

·         The position requires working outdoors, working days, evenings, nights, and weekends, lifting 40lbs overhead, and walking and/or standing on the truck stop parking lot during the majority of the shift.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior sales and service experience desirable. Previous experience in the trucking industry a plus. Strong computer skills required.
