The position is responsible for:
Ensuring facility equipment and systems reliability.Maintaining facility equipment and systems preventative maintenance agreements/schedules.Establishing cost effective contacts/agreements with local contractors/services.Maintaining liaison with manufacturer representatives to ensure factory support.Assisting in receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory records and initiating procurement requests for needed inventory and replacement parts.Assisting in meeting facility production, quality and safety goals.Developing repair procedures for equipment using manufacturer manual.Implementing and overseeing the sanitation procedures/schedules for the facility.Supervising and coaching maintenance and sanitation employees.Performing safety training.
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have:
Two (2)year Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience.Two (2) to three (3) years of supervisory experience.Demonstrated technical knowledge of battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, D.C. Controllers, A. C. Drives powered lift equipment and bar code scanning/RF technology.Experience in diagnosing electrical and other issues in relation to a sort systems.Previous experience designing, implementing, and managing a preventative maintenance program.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repair needs.Excellent communications skills.Power equipment licensing.
