Come work for a growing transportation company nestled in a beautifully wooded area just a few miles from the scenic sands of Lake Michigan.

Tandem Transport Corp. is a full truckload flatbed carrier operating over 300 tractor/trailer units. We have 7 terminals in the Midwest and south. We are reviewing applications for a Maintenance Shop Manager at our corporate office who schedules services; supervises maintenance technicians; issues parts and manages inventory; verifies vehicle performance; complies with federal and state vehicle requirements; maintains vehicle records; keeps shop equipment operating; contains costs; keeps supplies ready; updates job knowledge; issues various maintenance reports; and works to improve the maintenance department's organization and reputation. The ideal candidate will have a strong maintenance background (we will review any maintenance background but prefer class 8 equipment), supervisory skills and experience, administrative skills, communication skills and organizational skills.
