Our client is a recognized "leader" in their industry. They are as well known as "the" place to work as they are for the "quality" of their product.  This is a small facility where people have to work as a team and wear multiple hats.  They have asked us to assist in their search for a Maintenance Manager.  Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:
---Manage the physical assets or equipment, buildings and property.
---Provide engineering support to improve or enhance manufacturing processes and a safe work environment.
---Provide leadership in a Continuous Improvement culture
---Responsible for installations and upgrades of equipment, building and property through a project management cycle that facilitates timely completions at the lowest possible cost
---P&L responsibilities include utilities, spare parts and labor.
---Provide updated off hour plant maintenance support for the plant.  Monitor system for effectiveness.
---Support Loss Control through knowledge of appropriate OSHA standards, loss control elements as assigned, full participation in Safety programs.
---support product delivery through execution of ISO 9002 standards.
---Justify department needs, working with accounting and plant manager to secure necessary resources for continued improvement.
---Understand capacity constraints on all plant auxiliary equipment and its impact on production equipment
---Knowledge of production equipment's components interactions/connections

Requirements for the position are as follows:
---BSEE or ME
---A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment supervising maintenance techniciansMUST have strong knowledge of DC motors and drives, AC Vector motors and drives, Allen Bradley PLC 5's.  Knowledge of automation is paramount.
---Ability to work with cross functional groups.  Ability to lead others and possess a vision in regards to improving systems and technologies while at the same time being able to convince others to embrace change.
