SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Develop and implement common approach to contractors used by engineering and maintenance and work with mill’s maintenance groups on MRO substitutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop common (or similar) contracts across mills.
· Work on strategies to reduce Maintenance spend for contractors.
· Work with corporation purchasing and mill maintenance groups as storeroom substitutions are suggested and evaluated.
· Assist corporate purchasing and mill maintenance groups in identifying stores reductions and potential substitutions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Extensive Contractor Experience
· Extensive Maintenance Experience (especially with MRO supplies)
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
· Results oriented
· Solid Communication Skills
· Ability to present and persuade
· Data handling skills (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
25 – 30%
