A Leading Global Supplier of chemical components is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing facility located in the Huntsville Alabama area.

 

The “best fit” candidate should have a BS degree in Engineering or Technical Field.  Approximately 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in a chemical production operation preferred but not required. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Coordinates and implements all maintenance activities to ensure they comply with all safety and environment regulations Sets up and implements programs of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and other programs to monitor quality of maintenance efforts. Participates in forming the maintenance budget and be responsible for achieving budgetary cost goals. Participates in group meetings to address personnel issues, shift schedules, work rules/policy, quality problems, cost reduction programs, safety and environmental issues. Must be an involved person with the ability to assess equipment condition, troubleshoot and train technicians.
