Mailroom Clerk (8AM to 5PM: M-F)

 

Perform specific duties and responsibilities as outlined below utilizing specified skills, abilities, and knowledge required for this position.  Possess ability to learn and apply new skills.   

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shipping, receiving, and distribution of all mail including USPS, FedEx, UPS, Airborne, etc. Interoffice mail distribution. Moving cases of paper, forms,  etc. Other duties as assigned by the Department Head.

 

 SKILLS / ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

Experience with PCs and be computer literate. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Ability to operate postal machines. Articulate, business-like and friendly demeanor. Written skills for documentation and reporting. Ability to work with others. Self-motivated and able to do work with minimal supervision. Strong dedication to professionalism. Perceived as approachable. Strength to lift up to 70 pounds of boxes, equipment, etc.
