Loss Prevention Manager (retail)      

 

Are you looking to join one of the largest retail chains in America?  We are currently looking for a strong Regional Loss Prevention Manager to assist our Midwest regional market place.  The right candidate for this position will be responsible for protecting the company’s assets in the Chicago/Midwest region. 

 

The ideal candidate will be in charge of effectively safeguarding the Companies merchandise.  Candidates need to have experience in training employees on loss prevention as well as using audits to prevent merchandise loss.  He/She will be responsible for investigating all known losses and coordinates with police on theft prosecution.  Candidates need to have experience working as a Loss Prevention Manager with the retail industry.  All candidates need to have sound judgment to plan and accomplish the company’s goals.    

 

Essential Functions     

   

·         Develop and implement the division's Loss Prevention programs and strategies

·         Exhibiting a high level of honesty and integrity    

·         Initiation, investigation & management of internal cases involving the division's stores

·         Preparation of detailed case reports on investigations conducted - including general loss interviews to determine areas of potential exposure Develop partnerships with Regional, District, and Store Management staffs to achieve financial goals, and develop implement and maintain the Loss Prevention Audit Program

·         Provide feedback to all levels of management  

·         Increase Shrink Awareness through training initiatives, the implementation of corporate training programs, and participation in weekly/monthly conference calls within the region    

 

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years or more of retail experience    

Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills

Travel 50%
