Our client is seeking an individual that: is responsible for communicating the need of our customers to the company.  Strive to understand each situation and request. Under commit and over deliver. While being aware of the company’s long term and “big picture” goals, the inside team needs to be absolutely focused on the daily sales goals.

 

The Inside Salesperson/Business Development position requires a high degree of organization, discipline, self- motivation, strategic thinking and drive.  Understand your strengths and maximize them.  Recognize your weaknesses and work to improve or minimize them.  My client commits to being very supportive of its sales team, but the ultimate responsibility to grow and improve is yours.

 

The main responsibilities of the position will include:

 

·        Understands order flow and monitor customer orders to ensure quality service.  Proficient at order entry to ensure that the proper territory codes, salesperson codes, pricing codes, and market segments are entered correctly.

·        Processes quote requests.  Works with the outside sales force and distributors on pricing strategies.

·        Be the driving force for my client’s contractor program and outbound calling campaign; Work with the outside sales to ensure timely responses to prospect and customer inquiries. Track wins or loses on quotes and projects.

·        Expedites orders and requests for technical information quickly and efficiently.

·        Establishes a weekly goal and communicates goal to outside sales.

·        Accessible to customers and responds to requests quickly and professionally.  Works with company personnel to expedite customer requests as needed.

·        Understands our customer needs and contacts customers and distributors on a daily, weekly basis.

·        Works as integral team member with outside sales force to maximize your effort and generate sales each month.

·        Understands the features and benefits of competitors’ products, marketing strategies and pricing trends.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum B.S. degree.  Combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
