US Citizenship required The Systems Analyst III analyzes and evaluates major system project requirements of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the system. Reviews user requirements and provides direction in the identification of problem and potential resolution. Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of complex, multiple, inter-linked systems (e.g. software, hardware, telecommunications and networks). Defines system objectives and prepares system requirements to satisfy interface problems and to meet user requirements. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Must have good communication skills and be a team player. Must maintain currency in new information technology developments. Must have experience in conducting trade studies and providing decision support for management. Required Skills Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or Management Information Systems. Working towards professional certification –i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics or equivalent certification Required Experience Six (6) years experience in logistics support of electronic systems including: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. Four (4) years support of C4ISR systems. Demonstrated skills in: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Specific experience in: ILS Specification and PWS; Maintenance Planning; ILSP, ULSS planning and publishing; Support and test equipment facilities; Technical data/ILS milestone planning; USN Packaging, handling, storage and transportation; Fleet introduction/ILS certification; Logistic Life Cycle Cost; TEMPEST/COMSEC concepts and requirements; and Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
