We have an immediate opening for Two Logistic Coordinator Supervisors at our Fort Wayne, Indiana facility to fill the following schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Position Summary
A Supervisor of Program Coordinators ensures the best service levels are obtained for the program(s) assigned. This position will provide direct supervision to project and order planning areas ensuring delivery of services and quality levels are met or surpassed daily. Process execution includes effective planning, utilization of service agreements and pricing matrices, process development, troubleshooting, and improvement events and service recovery events as required. Must have the ability to identify and recommend process improvements that increase productivity, increase client and service provider satisfaction, and eliminate redundancy, inefficiency and costs. As needed, the Supervisor will fulfill the requirements of the Program Coordinator position and / or the Lead position.
The position will also be responsible for process reporting and analysis. Maintaining data integrity and reporting accuracy is an essential deliverable of this position. The position will contribute/influence the selection of tools and applications used to produce process reports; a solid understanding of database concepts, MRP/ERP, TMS and WMS applications and analytical tools to develop reports is highly desirable. This position will provide written management reports integrating information from business applications.
This position will contribute on cross-functional activities including but limited to Finance, Operations, Sales, Human Resources and Supplier Management. This position will report to either a Client Manager or General Manager.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
1. Supervise up to 10 associates
2. Apply business acumen to the management of people and process.
3. Possess a solid understanding process operations management by utilizing concepts from both Service-based and Manufacturing industries.
4. Possess a solid background of Finance and Accounting.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead Quality initiatives using TQC/CPI/Six-sigma methods. Ability to create metric reports and data analysis to the extent of producing root-cause analysis and resolution reports.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and familiar with Team-based management.
7. Strong Customer Service focus, both internal and external customers.
8. Ability to engage in problem resolution with customer, suppliers, Program Coordinators and Client Mangers with minimal guidance.
9. Ability to train others.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3-5 year’s customer service experience with a background in logistics and supply chain management
- Demonstrated problem solving, communication and listening skills
- A strong understanding of the telecommunications industry
- Understands final mile processes
- Previous WMS and TMS knowledge.
- Demonstrable skills in TQM processes
- Has demonstrated sound judgment and ability to make effective decisions
- Ability to work efficiently under stress in a fast paced environment
- Effective time management capabilities
- Project management skills
- Leadership experience a plus
