Learn more about the breakthrough opportunities of Countrywide’s Full Spectrum Lending today. Upon joining Countrywide's Full-Spectrum Lending (FSL) Division, qualified candidates will not only receive extensive orientation but also participate in formal classroom-training geared towards familiarizing and equipping new Loan Officers with thorough, working knowledge of FSL's proven business-strategies, policies and procedures and lending processes. This training primarily focuses on (but is not limited to) lead-distribution methodologies, sales-lending strategies, compliance issues, underwriting and loan-processing systems. Account Executive Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Advising potential borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs which may best suit their needs·  Engaging in follow-up activities with prospective borrowers·  Filing renegotiations and Underwriting program changes·  Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all program policies and procedures·  Assisting Loan Specialist in gathering file documentation·  Completing loan application forms and adverse action notices, when appropriate A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  2+ years experience in mortgage sales with a history of funding 8 units per month in a large corporate environment or the equivalento  Applicants with less than 2 years of origination experience must have a history of successfully funding 8 units per montho  Applicants who have little or no origination experience must have solid industry experience in one of the following areas; real estate, mortgage processing/underwriting, retail banking or collections·  Ability to be detail-oriented and ability to multi-task without loss of high-level performance, productivity or efficiency·  Knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations pertaining to mortgage banking, financial services, mutual funding and/or the workplace (i.e. FSLA, Civil Rights Act, American Disabilities Act, etc.)·  Effective interpersonal and communication skills·  Proficiency with current software such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Strong Mortgage Sales background with a proven track record of success·  Superior knowledge of Mortgage Loan Origination, Operations, Products and Real Estate Transactions·  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate & Mortgage Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience is preferred. ·  Demonstrated experience in selling mortgages in a large corporate environment·  Thorough understanding of Fair Lending Guidelines·  Ability to successfully sell in a highly automated, fast-paced environment·  Strong PC Skills·  Prime experience is preferred·  College degree preferred·  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills·  Recognition and awards for accomplishments  Characteristics of Ideal Candidates:·  Sales Ability/Persuasiveness·  Job Motivation·  Integrity and honesty·  Initiative·  Competitive drive·  Aptitude/Thought Process·  Pride in past accomplishments, either work or school·  Flexibility/Change·  Attitude/Tolerance for Stress·  Energy Level·  Strong work ethic – industrious·  Communication Skills·  Strategic/Goal Setting Skills·  Ability to work well in a team environment·  Customer Service·  Diverse background, such as world travel, fluency in foreign languages, outside interests·  Articulate·  Organized Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
