Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Licensing Manager in its Nuclear Fuel group for its Hematite Decommissioning Site located in Festus, Missouri.
In this position, the Licensing Manager's will include, but not be limited to:
1. Manager Licensing Department resources to perform the following activities under the requirements of the NRC applicable to facilities licensed under 10 CFR 70:
oPrepare for NRC review and approval a comprehensive Decommissioning Plan and supporting documents, including but not limited to Decommissioning Environmental Report, Final Survey Plan, Radiological Characterization Report, and Decommissioning Cost Estimate and Funding Plan
oPlan and manage resources in the preparation of licensing basis document changes to conform with the Decommissioning Plan and supporting documents, including:
oLicense amendment request(s);
oExemption request(s) as necessary; and
oProgram changes, including Physical Security, Material Control and Accounting, Environmental Monitoring, etc.
oManage day-to-day licensing activities, such as reportability determinations, routine reports, regulatory interpretations, procedure changes, commitment tracking, change control evaluations, etc.
2. Effectively develops and coordinates violation responses, exemption requests, and other written communications.
3. Manages licensing basis revision implementation including procedure updates, training support, and reviews for quality.
4. Manages commitment tracking activities.
5. Primary point of contact with NRC headquarters and Region III.
6. Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal regulations, industry standards and company policies. A successful candidate will have:
BS in Engineering related field.
Ten (10) years of nuclear licensing experience, with at least three (3) years in a management role involving direct interface with NRC Staff and NRC Management.
Substantial team-driven experience in a multi-tasking environment is desired.
Effective written and oral communications skills.
In-depth knowledge of applicable portions of the Code of Federal Regulations
