NUCLEAR LICENSING ENGINEER needed in the central Midwest. Requires BS Degree in Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) (CAN NOT BE A FOREIGN DEGREE) and a minimum of 5 to 10+ years experience in nuclear power . MUST HAVE Commercial Nuclear Power Plant experience, Preferably including a minimum 2 years specifically in a licensing function. Requires familiarity with requirements of 10CFR 50.59, UFSAR, Tech Specs, SAR, and functions such as Safety Evaluations, show cause, and operating license issues. A PLUS to have experience in nuclear power plant system operations, engineering, or maintenance. A PLUS to have or have had a SRO license or STA certification,

Position will ensure nuclear power plant operating compliance is maintained with 10CFR50.59, Technical Specifications, and UFSAR. Will provide leadership in supporting safe plant operations; evaluate plant license issues; assist in maintaining and ensuring full justification and documentation of changes to Plant Technical Specifications, Design Basis and related documents, and Safety Analysis Reports; interface with plant Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, QA Audit, and external oversight entities such as INPO and the NRC; and prepare responses to NRC requests such as Generic Letters, Bulletins, and Requests for Additional Information.
