Our company develops and sells High Availability software for Microsoft systems. Our North American Headquarters is located in Austin, Texas.
This Level 1 Inside Sales role will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities within an assigned region in North America. This person will make a significant contribution by rapid and proactive follow-up of inbound inquiries, prospective regional development activities, and the execution of integrated lead generation campaigns. Ideal candidate will be someone who wants to move up in their career. Ambition, drive and a hard work ethic are definite key components in being successful.
This job is a contract position with potential for permanent hire and true career advancement into outside sales.
Responsibilities:
Take leads generated through marketing activities and develop them into prospects by communicating the company’s value proposition tailored to the prospective customer’s needsProvide initial sales contact and utilizing a consultative approach to evaluate and understand prospect’s business and needsExceed assigned activity targets outlined in Compensation PlanMake a minimum 60 outbound calls/dayMaintain the sales database, including comprehensive data entry, setting tasks for follow-up, lead tracking and hand-off to our Regional Sales team and our partnersProvide feedback on fulfillment pieces and collateral. Promote lead generation programs to increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and to create awareness for current product promotionsMaintain current knowledge of the company’s products, customer applications, competitive product differences, and Web-based corporate learning and collaboration strategies to target and “solution sell” to prospective customersJob Skill Requirements:
